I grew up in Australia and have always been a creative person at heart. Art was my way to relax, express myself, and slow down.

But like so many people, life got busy.

University, work, and everyday responsibilities slowly pushed creativity to the side. I became more anxious, more easily stressed, and far less mindful. I missed that feeling of creating, but I couldn’t find a way to fit it into my already full schedule.

That’s when the idea for CarryColour was born.

I needed a simple, no-setup, portable way to create; something I could use anywhere, anytime. So I started developing a compact watercolour palette designed to remove all the usual barriers to art. No mess. No prep. Just creativity, on the go.

Almost immediately, I noticed the difference. My mood improved, my stress levels dropped, and I felt genuinely happier being able to create again, even in small moments. I knew I couldn’t keep that to myself.

So I created CarryColour to share that same feeling with other Aussies.
